Flipping a House with a POOL

Here are some helpful lessons that we learned about flipping a house with a pool: 

• Have a pool company inspect pools prior to property purchase and work repairs into purchase price
• Common pool problems to look for: 
  • Water intake pipe can commonly overheat and fluctuate–this is one of the most commonly replaced items in pool pumps
  • Most common areas for pools leaks are pool lights, step ladders, and wrinkles in pool liners
  • Look for water, mold, or algae on the pool pump (these are signs of water leaks)
